Canadian Affair get custom iPad brochure app
One of the things we have done in recent months is to add an iPad app to our service. The iPad is such a great device for reading brochures and magazines, it seemed an obvious platform for us to support.
Not only do we have an inbro app which allows downloading and viewing publications from our clients, but we also offer a custom app service. If you wish to have your own branded presence on the iPad, this could be the simplest and fastest way to achieve this.
The Canadian Affair app has been available in the iPad app store since early April, and with little effort has clocked over 100 downloads and has put over 125 brochures in the hands of consumers. It's an easy way to leverage the investment in producing the brochures, and not only that, but it's environmentally friendly and easy and fun to use for consumers.
The app offers not only a great way to show off the great photography and design of their publications, but also a tab to access the website so the latest news and offers are right there under the fingers of the user. The app also optionally features a news tab which is directly fed from your blog or RSS feed, and a push notification system that will gently alert users when there is news or new/updated publications available.
We've enjoyed making this app, but most of all it feels great to browse brochures and other publications on the bright and colourful screen of an iPad. We think consumers will feel the same way.
