inbro's donations to environmental protection, due to our membership and commitment to the 1% for the Planet* network have just been mailed.

We donated to the Environmental Justice Foundation and to Sustrans. (Actually we don't regard it as a donation, more an investment. As 1FTP say themselves, "there is no business to be done on a dead planet").

We chose EJF because we agree that "environmental security is a human right", and we think they're trying to get as close to the source of the problems as they possibly can. Benefits flow downstream from that.

We chose Sustrans because they're a UK organisation, as we are, and we wanted a proportion of our donations to be accountably spent in the UK, because we think their projects can benefit the entire community, especially the young growing up in a crowded auto-motived world, and because we love our bikes.
